Katerina Tana is a native Angeleno, and grew up between London, England and the former Yugoslavia.  She speaks English, French, Italian and Serbian. At the University of York she acted and directed, and took plays up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

She formally trained at Arts Educational in London, where she was cast as Barbara Allen in DARK OF THE MOON, which brought her to the attention of critic Michael Billington.  

At Gate Theatre, London she played Jesse in the UK premier of THE CUBAN SWIMMER and debuted the role of Arlie in the UK premiere of GETTING OUT by Marsha Norman to critical acclaim at the National Theatre of Wales.

She is an Associate Member at Pacific Residents Theatre in Venice, California.

Her feature film credits include THERE GOES MY BABY, THE DUCHESS, LEECHES and the soon to be released INTRIGO/Samaria by Daniel Alfredsen.

She has been cast in HIGHER GROUND, a feature to be shot in Europe this summer, directed by Randy Miller. She will perform in a season of plays (CIRCE & BRAVO, WHITE CROW) by writer Donald Freed, in the UK later this year.
